First Baptist Church of Warsaw, MO

We are blessed with an abundance of musical talent.  Music is a vital part of the worship service at First Baptist.   We incorporate many styles of music in our worship from the great hymns of our faith to the contemporary music of today. 

ADULT CHOIR:  Charlene Million is the choir director and serves as our primary pianist.  As well as providing special music for worship services, the choir presents special programs at Easter, Christmas, and other holidays as well.   Choir practice is held on Sunday evenings. from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.   If you desire to join in the music ministry of First Baptist Church, please come and join us then.  Charlene is the Music Teacher in the Warsaw school system. She and her husband, Kevin, have two daughters.   Kevin serves as our Song Leader in the worship services.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR:  Arvetta Parrish is the director of the Children's Choir, now renamed Kids For Christ (K.F.C).  This choir is open to any child from Kindergarten through 6th grade.  On regular dismissal Wednesdays, the Children's choir meets right after school  until 4:30 p.m.  The church bus will pick up the registered children at North school and transport them to the church.  The parents are responsible for pickup after practice.  On early-out Wednesdays, the Children's choir will not meet.  The K.F.C. performs at some church services, presents a Christmas program, and is beginning a new puppet ministry with K.F.C. Art.

There are many opportunities for participation in special music at First Baptist.   We encourage the use of the talents and gifts God has blessed us with and work to improve these gifts.  We are blessed with musicians as well as vocal talent and welcome all who wish to share their gifts in this area.
